On Monday, June 5, 2023, Card Rhonda Sue Aebersold, 48, suddenly perished at home.

The daughter of Shirley Sue Sawyers Aebersold and the late Ronald Dwight Aebersold, Rhonda was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on June 18, 1974. Her brother Michael Lee Aebersold also passed away before her parents.

Rhonda attended Spencerian College and Meade County High School before graduating. She worked as a medical assistant at Kentuckiana Rheumatology and was a member of Brandenburg United Methodist Church. Rhonda always gave generously and cherished her relationships with her loved ones. She was a passionate MiMi who spent countless hours cooking, crafting, and gardening with her three grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Shelbi Humphrey (CJ) Saylor and their children Addison Hadley and Brinlee Saylors of Brandenburg, KY; brother, Doug (Ilene) Aebersold of Brandenburg; nieces, Megan (Brad) Sonner and Molly Aebersold; nephews, Cole (Bliss) Aebersold and Kurt Aebersold; best friends, Katie Hardesty and Patricia Downs and aunts, uncles and several cousins.

The Brandenburg United Methodist Church will hold funeral services on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at noon, with burial in Eastlawn Cemetery to follow.

Hello, My name is Missy and I am organizing this memorial fund for Rhonda’s grandbabies. She had one daughter Shelbi & 3 granddaughters, a set of twins 5 years old and a 2 year old.

Rhonda was taken from all of us that loved her on Monday, June 5, 2023 by a senseless tragedy. Everyone that knew Rhonda, knew she loved her daughter & her grandbabies. She couldnt wait to watch her babies grow up. These funds will be put in a memorial fund for the 3 girls for when they are older for college, & life in general.

We understand that everyone may not be able to donate but we appreiciate all the thoughts, & prayers, keep them coming during this very difficult time.

Visitation will be place at the Brandenburg United Methodist Church on Monday, June 12 from 2 to 8 p.m. EDT, and on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the ceremony.
