Ghanaian Police who died from coronavirus buried in Koforidua

Environmental Health Personnel from New Juaben South Municipal Assembly in the Eastern Region on Saturday buried the late Police Chief Inspector who died from Coronavirus.

He was buried under strict compliance with the World Health Organization (WHO) protocol for the burial of Coronavirus casualties.

The personnel who buried the police inspector were seen to be wearing full protective gear and carried the body from  Eastern Regional Hospital Mortuary allowing only a few family members to view the body of their beloved and bid him farewell

The inspector 55 years was said to have died from the coronavirus on Friday, May 29, 2020 after been admitted at the Eastern Regional Hospital in Koforidua for few days having visited the Police Clinic in Koforidua and Newland Hospital- a private facility.

Koforidua has recorded 24 cases of Coronavirus with one recovery and one death.

Out of the national case count of 9,462, Eastern Regional has recorded 163 cases
