A Ghanaian community in the United Kingdom organized their own funeral for the late Prince Philip.
The husband of Queen Elizabeth who died a couple of weeks ago was finally laid to rest today.
While the official burial ceremony of Prince Philip came off at Windsor Castle, a Ghanain funeral came off in Tottenham.

Ghanaians we know have serious love for funeral as the dead is always given a befitting farewell to the land of the ancestors.
The funeral held by the Ghanaian community in Tottenham showcased the Ghanaian culture to the world as they displayed Ghanaian wear, music and dance.

There were traditional Ghanaian drummers at the funeral grounds displaying their drumming skills on the fontomfrom and atumpan.
The Akan language was used mostly at the funeral with an English translator present to translate it to the Queen’s language.
