Ghana Will Go To Finals Of 2026 FIFA World Cup If Bawumia Becomes President - Chairman Wontumi Assures Ghanaians

Chairman Wontumi has assured Ghanaians that Ghana will play in the finals of the World Cup should Bawumia become President.

Ashanti Region chairman of NPP, Chairman Wontumi says Ghana will play in the finals of the FIFA World Cup under the presidency of Bawumia.

Mounting the stage of the Bawumia Thank You tour in Tamale, the capital of the Northern Region, he talked about reasons why Bawumia should win the 2024 election.

According to Chairman Wontumi, for Ghana to really develop, the NPP needs to hand over power to the NPP after 8 years of rule because the constant chance of government since 1992 has served Ghana well.

He sighted how NDC ruled from 1993 to 2001 and hand over power to NPP who also handed over power to NDC in 2009 and then another NPP government took over in 2017.

Chairman Wontumi believes the solution to Ghana’s development is having one government to be in power for a long time and that that’s what all the developed countries did.

 

 

Summing up his speech, Chairman Wontumi said when Bawumia wins the 2024 election, under his tenure Ghana Black Stars will qualify to the 2026 FIFA World Cup and make it fo the finals.
