The Government of Ghana has decided to open its borders to received deported citizens from Kuwait despite border closure.
The Kuwait government has arrested 245 Ghanaians living in their country without proper documentation.
The 245 Ghanaians have been detained in Kuwait awaiting deportation back to their home country, Ghana.
According to the Ghana’s Minister of Information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Ghana has reached an agreement with Kuwait fo open the country’s border to accept the 245 people.

All the 245 people will be placed under mandatory quarantine for 14 days on arriving at the Kotoka International Airport, Accra.
