Ghana to pay each Black Stars player $30k, coach Milovan $60k if they beat Comoros to qualify

The Senior national football team of Ghana go into the last Group C game of the African Cup of Nations with a make or break approach.

The dream of winning the AFCON 2021 trophy hangs in the crucial game against Comoros on Tuesday evening.

A win for Ghana could qualify the team to the next round as either the 2nd placed team in Group C or one of the best 3rd placed team.

Should the team win and qualify to the knockout stage each player will get a qualification bonus of $30,000.

The coach Milovan Rajevac will get a double of what each player is getting as qualification bonus if he guides the team to victory on Tuesday.

It must be noted that the winning bonus approach for paying each player $10,000 after every win has been replaced with qualification bonus which means the players only get paid when they qualify to the next stage of the competition.

With this, if the team wins even two games and fail to qualify, they get nothing.

In the same way if they lose 2 games and still manage to qualify with just one win, they get $30,000.
