Ghana Police arrest Chukudi Okafor, the COVID-19 escapee
Simon Okafor Chukudi, the COVID-19 positive guy who escaped in the Upper West has been arrested.
The Ghana Police Service announced the arrest of the Nigerien COVID-19 escapee.
According to the Police, the escapee who absconded from Wapaani was arrested in Kpongu in the same Region.
Wa COVID-19 Escapee Apprehended
Samuel Okafor Chukwudi, the Nigerian national who has tested positive but absconded from Wapaani where he was expected to be isolating in his home has been apprehended today, 17th April, 2020 at Kpongu, also a suburb of Wa in the Upper West Region

Following his arrest on Friday 17 April 2020, 7 others believed to have come into contact with him have been quarantined.
