Ghana Government freezes employment in the public sector - Finance Minister announces in 2023 budget

Ghana government has frozen empowerment in the public sector for 2023.

The government of Ghana has frozen  employment in the public sector for the year 2023.

The 2023 budget statement was read in parliament by Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta today.

One of the measures taken by the government for the year 2023 is that there will be no employment in the public sector.

 

 

Employment into the public service and the civil service has been frozen for the year 2023.

VAT rate has been increased by 2% and E-Levy charges has been reduced to 1%.
