From Buduburam Refugee Camp in Ghana to destroying Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, meet Alphonso Davies
Alphonso Davies stole the show in Bayern Munich’s demolition exercise at Stamford Bridge last night.
The Canadian International is only 19 years of age but he’s already making waves at the highest level of football, the Uefa Champions League.
Though Alphonso Davies plays for the Canadian National Football team, he was birthed by a Liberian mother and father.
In the year 2000, two Liberian refugees at the refugees camp in Ghana known as Budumburam gave birth to bouncy baby boy in Ghana.

The year 2005, the parents of Alphonso Davies moved to Canada as Refugees. At age of 16 he made his debut as a professional footballer for Vancouver Whitecaps this becoming the youngest player to play in the Major League Soccer (MLS).
Fast forward 2020, this boy, Alphonso Davies, is now a renowned footballer playing for European giant Bayern Munich.
Yesterday when Chelsea hosted Bayern Munich at the Stamford Bridge, 19 year old Alphonso Davies did put on a man of the match display to win over the footballing world.
