Former MPs have become poor and have resorted to begging to survive – Majority Leader

The Majority leader of Ghana Parliament, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu has revealed that some former legislators have become paupers.

Speaking on Joynews’ PM Express, the Majority Leader said some former MPs have become poor after leaving the August house.

He added that some of retorted to begging from their former colleagues who are still in Parliament for money to survive.

“Former MPs have become paupers and have resorted to begging for handouts from sitting MPs to survive” – Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu
