After he was reportedly abducted, controversial blogger Bongo Ideas—also known as “I am the devil’s incarnate”—spoke for the first time.
The contentious entertainment critic acknowledged in a self-recorded video that there was, in fact, some truth to what Ghanaians had heard.
Bongo Ideas told the tale, narrating how some persons posing as police officers came to his residence at three in the morning on March 14th in an attempt to have him arrested.
He claims that after they had beaten him, they had pointed a gun at him, threatened to murder him, and told him to recite his final prayer.

He continued by claiming that the purported police officers had cautioned him not to bring up President Akufo Addo, the nation’s first gentleman.
