Footballer poisoned to dəath after visiting relatives in his hometown on New Year

Ivorian footballer Oussou Konan has passed away after a visit to his hometown.

The player who until recently plays Al-Bukiryah Football Club in Saudi Arabia has died in his hometown on a new year visit.

Reports from Ivory Coast links his death to poisoning as it’s been widely reported that he was poisoned while on a visit to his town.

Initially it was reported that he died from a short illness but this morning his cousin has been accused of poisoning him.
