Focus on football not money – Sports Minister delivers Akufo-Addo’s message to the Blackstars team
Hon. Mustapha Ussif has delivered a message from President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo to the Blackstars of Ghana team in Cameroon.
The Sports Ministee spoke to the team at their camp in Cameroon where they are preparing for the final and crucial last Group C match.
Blackstars of Ghana needs a win in that match to stand a chance of qualifying to the knockout stages of the ongoing African Cup of Nations.
Speaking to the team, Hon Mustapha Ussif urged that to have their focus on football and not money because they whole nation expect better from them.
He made mention of the fact that the government led by His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has done his part so the players need to deliver.

Ghana face AFCON debutant Comoros on Tuesday January 18, 2022 at 19:00 GMT.
A win for Ghana in the game means Ghana stand a chance of qualifying to the next round either as the 2nd placed team in Group C or as part of the best 3rd placed team.
