Sarkodie has joined the protest to get the government to fix the Tema Motorway.

Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has joined the protest to get the government of Ghana to fix the Tema Motorway.

The once enviable Tema Motorway has become a dead trap taking the lives of road users.

Since 1965 when Ghana’s first President Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah finished with the construction of the concrete road, it has never seen any major maintenance.

Anytime there is a public outrage, the government uses coal to patch pot holes on a whole concrete road.

Finally the loudest of the public outrage has been turned into a major online protest.

FixTheTemaMotorway is trending on all social media platforms.

Sarkodie, a Tema born artist who holds the City dear to his heart has joined the online protest to get the most important road in the region fixed.

The road links Accra to the Tema Harbor biggest harbor in the country.
