Final year students of Universities, SHS and JHS to return to school from June 15, 2020

Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo has eased coronavirus restrictions for final year students to return to school.

Addressing the nation for the 10th on the country’s coronavirus restrictions, he said final year students will return to school from June 15, 2020.

According to the President, this decision was arrived at following consultations with Teachers Unions and other major stake holders in Education.

On the June 15, final year students of tertiary will return to school.

Form 3 students Senior High School and the Gold Track of from 2 will return to school on 22nd June.

The following week, final year students of Junior High Schools will resume on 29th June with class sizes or not more than 30.

With the final year students of other tertiary institutions like Teacher training, nursing and midwifery, they will return on June 15th 2020.

Akufo-Addo added that the class room shouldn’t take more than 35 people
