FIFA lifts ban on Ghana’s Samuel Inkoom after one year

The ban of Samuel Inkoom has been lifted by the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA).

The Blackstars right back was handed a suspension by the world’s football governing body following a impasse between the player and former agent Curtis Willer over the settlement of an agency fee back in 2014.

FIFA ordered the former Asante Kotoko player to settle the agent or risk being hit with a ban from football but the player was unable to raise funds to settle the agent.

Samuel Inkoom was subsequently banned from playing football.

It’s been reported that the player has finally settled his former agent hence the annulment of the ban by FIFA.

Prio to his ban, he was playing for Bulgarian side FC Vereya.

According to reports, the player is currently been perused by clubs in Belgium and France.
