FDA Ghana approves 1st herbal medicine for clinical trail on COVID-19 treatment
Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has approved the first herbal medicine for clinical trail on COVID-19 treatment.
This was announced his morning via a press release from the Food and Drug Authority.
The herbal medicine is Crptolepis sanguinolenta locally known as Nibima.
This herbal medicine was sent to the FDA as a possible medicine to treat COVID-19 by researchers from the School of Public Health in the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
