The year 2019 marks exactly 20 years since Obrafour released his first album in his illustrious music career.
The 1999 album titled ‘Pae Mu Ka’ has been praised by many as the greatest rap album in the history of Ghana music.
Many Artiste including the likes of Sarkodie and M.anifest say that very album influenced their rap career.
To celebrate the legacy of Obrafour, a documentary has been produced but strangely Sarkodie couldn’t feature in the Documentary.
Sarkodie on several occasions praised Obrafour’s influence on his career so his absence in the yet to be released Documentary has raised eyebrows.
Those privileged to have watched the documentary say they saw the likes of Manifest, Tic, Cy Lover, Hammer and Manifest but conspicuously missing was Sarkodie.
According to checks by joy prime, the producers reached out to Sarkodie on several occasions but in all occasions his team pulled excuses.
M.anifest who was in Nigeria during the shoot had to fly back to Ghana when the producers reached out to him according to joy prime.
Angeltown a member of Sarkodie’s management team told joy prime that Sarkodie couldn’t turn Obrafour down but the team the producers gave them coincided with other engagement, Pastor Brian Amoateng’s IYES Conference at the National Theatre.
