EPA orders for the construction of the ‘Ashaley Botwe Tower of Babel’ to halt

The Environmental Protection Agency, EPA has ordered for the infamous ‘Ashaley Botwe Tower of Babel’ to halt.

The 6-Storey building erected on a quarter plot came to the attention of Ghanaians when social media user posted the photos on Facebook Sunday.

Ghanaians angrily reacted to the photo and called for the building to be demolished lest it collapses and cause serious damages.

Today the Environmental Protection Agency has revealed that owner of the building has no permit to build.

The Chief Executive Officer of EPA Henry Kokofu visited the site this morning but couldn’t met the owner of the building.


He left a message with the bother and ordered them to halt the construction.
