Emotional as mother,26 offers 5-year-son for adoption after wasting life-savings on family
A young woman contemplating suicide has offered her 5-year-old son for adoption.
Broke without job after spending all her savings on family, the 26-year-old lady is offering her only joy in life, her son for adoption because she isn’t able to give him the life he deserves.
She reached out to Award winning Ghanaian journalist, Mabel Aku Baneseh to help her get someone who needs a child to come for her boy because the he’s home and she can’t afford to take him to school.
According to the lady she had a lucrative contract job so all family responsibilities fell on her and family issues drained all her money including 23,000 cedis she spent on the family during a funeral aside money she used to treat a sick relative.
Below Is Mabel Aku Baneseh’s Post About The Lady
I received the following message captured in the screenshot on Monday. I followed up, took her number and spoke to her for 55 minutes.
I deduced the following from the conversation after the call.
She’s 26 and the impression I got was that she wanted her child in safe arms so she can commit suicide.
She had a good contract job that paid well, but she was generous to her family and cumulatively spent GHS23,000 on the family during a funeral. The medical bills she paid during her *** sickness is not part of the listed amount. Thus, she has depleted her savings.
The very people who loved her now speak to her like a failure after her contract ended.
She has begun to feel like a failure herself because she cannot find a job to cater for herself and her child.
She’s currently putting up with a friend because she feels suicidal anytime she’s around her family members
I managed to talk her out of her suicidal thoughts, at least, momentarily. I’m trying to convince her to see a psychologist for some therapy. She’s ready to work and have a new life with her son.
She is able to work in these capacities:
-Administrative duties. (Office Management/front desk, Administrative Assistance, Personal Assistance)
-Research and Data analysis.
-Projects and Programmes Management.
Please do contact me if you have an offer relating to any of the disciplines mentioned above.
Thank you.
She will be reading your comments. ??
Please don’t skip the LESSONS in her story.
