Egypt FA Prez sacks coach, dissolves backroom staff and resigns himself after AFCON defeat
Hany Abou-Rida has resigned as the President of Egyptian Football Association following the an early AFCON exit.
Hany Abou-Rida penned down his resignation from his post after last night’s Pharaohs defeat to Bafana Bafana.
Before stepping down as the FA President, he sacked coach Javier Aguirre for guiding the Pharaohs to failure when the nation expected them to win their 8th title.

The backroom staff of Coach Javier Aguirre wasn’t left out of the sack was extended to the entire staff of the national team.
