Davido’s coronavirus test result finally out. See details (screenshots)

The coronavirus epidemic continues to disrupt life across the world. The disruption is gathering steam in African countries that have recorded cases as compared to for example Italy where the entire country is almost in a lockdown.

The impact on gatherings is an area that most African governments have moved to control. Ghana has barred public gatherings after recording its index case. Nigeria and other countries are calling for less gatherings.

Cameroon’s African jazz icon Manu Dibango was buried at a private ceremony in the French capital, Paris; where he died in a hospital from coronavirus infection early last week.

The iconic global saxophonist is celebrated for his exceptional blend of jazz, funk and traditional west African styles. His career spanned a period of 60 years.

The entire French Africa region was particularly hit by his death with condolence messages from Presidents of Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Ivory Coast and Gabon.

Dibango is remembered as a legend who put African music on the world map and inspired many artists including the likes of Benin’s grammy award winner Angelique Kidjo, she described Dibango as the original giant of African music.

Last Friday, Nigerian star Davido also confirmed that his fiancé had tested positive for the virus after she recently returned from the United Kingdom.

“My fiancé Chioma also came back from London recently with our baby. We had no symptoms and still both feel perfectly fine but because of our recent travel history we decided to take ourselves and our all close associates we’ve come in recent contact with for the COVID-19 test on the 25th of March.

“Unfortunately, my fiancé’s results came back positive while all 31 others tested have come back negative including our baby. We are however doing perfectly fine and she is even still yet to show any symptoms whatsoever.

“She is now being quarantined and I have also gone into full self isolation for the minimum 14 days. I want to use this opportunity to thank you all for your endless love and prayers in advance and to urge everyone to please stay at home as everyone to please stay at home as we control the spread of this virus! Together we can beat this!” he wrote on Twitter.

After his prospective wife , Chioma tested Positive for Coronavirus, Davido has also followed suit and has also tested Positive for Coronavirus.

Davido made this revelation on his Instastories on Instagram and asked for the Prayers.
