Crime Check Foundation donates hundreds of mattresses to Prisoners (photos)

Popular Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Crime Check Foundation has done what we call God’s work by donating over 100 mattresses and other items to inmates with no beds.

Donating the items, the head of the foundation , Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng, said with the overwhelming situation the prisons services are facing in terms of accommodation and sleeping comfortable, the foundation is hopeful its donation will go a long away to help prison officers and inmates who in dire need.

Mr Oppong in his capacity as Ambassador Extraordinaire to Prisons, thanked all donors who always back the visions of Crime Check Foundation in championing the rehabilitation of inmates and also appealed to Ghanaians and business entities  in and out of the country to also come to the aid of the Prison Service and inmates, stressing that all of us are sinners and fall short of the glory of God and even some are completely innocent behind the bars.

“They may have sinned, but let us also not forget that all of us are sinners and fall short of the glory of God. Besides, some are completely innocent behind bars. We answered to the request of the Prisons Service for mattresses after our meeting with the Director General three days ago by providing our brothers and sisters with no bed to sleep on, one hundred mattresses. Many thanks to our cherished donors who continue to support the vision of CCF in championing the reformation and rehabilitation agenda of the Prisons Service“
