Coronavirus: 18-year-old girls donates Ghc11, 000, food items to Accra Regional Police to help in lockdown enforcement (photos)
Institutions and organisations in Ghana have joined the Government of Ghana in the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.
Most of them have been making donations to the various essential service providers including the police and health workers to aid them in the combat against COVID-19.
The latest donation made was by 18-year-old Talisha Maipuri who is the CEO of Talisha Non-Diary Milk and Papa Nono Non-Diary products.
It is indicated that the GHC11,000 was donated in-kind comprising non-diary products from the young woman, Talisha Maipuri, the CEO of Talisha Non-Diary Milk and Papa Nono Non-Dairy products.
According to Talisha, the donation was aimed at showing support to the police for their relentless efforts to still serve the country in the midst of the global coronavirus pandemic.
She made this known during the donation at the forecourt of the Regional Police Headquarters, Accra, after which the Accra Regional Police Commander, DCOP/Mr. Frederick Adu Anim received the items and appreciated her greatly for the gesture.
The young CEO’s gesture gathered many positive reactions on social media.
