Coach Milo Returns: GFA set to appoint Milovan Rajevac as new Ghana Blackstars coach

Serbian coach, Milovan Rajevac is set to return to Ghana after 2010.

The former coach of Ghana Blackstars is set to be named the new coach by the Ghana Football Association following the sacking of C.K Akonnor.

According to sources, the 3 man committee set up to search for a coach for Ghana have settled on Milovan Rajevac.

Their first choice was coach Herve Renard but his $100,000 monthly salary sums up to $2.4m in a 2 years deal which is too much for the Ghana Football Association.

With Herve Renard out of sight, they have settled on Milovan Rajevac as the new Ghana Blackstars coach.

Milovan Rajevac had a successful story with Ghana Blackstars in his first stint where he qualified the team to the 2010 World Cup and AFCON.

Ghana placed 2nd in the Angola 2010 AFCON and reached the Quarterfinals of South Africa 2010 World Cup.
