CID clears Charles Bissue in Anas’ Galamsey exposé
The Criminal Investigations Department of Ghana has cleared Charles Bissue over any wrong doing in the Anas Galamsey exposé case.
Months ago, Investigatives Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his Tiger Eye PI team aired a documentary on how state officials are sabotaging the President’s fight against the Galamsey menace.
The documentary showed Mr. Bissue, the former Secretary to the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining taking an alleged bribe to allow a mining company break the law for their selfish gains.

Charles Bissue voiced out his innocence and did step down for Investigations to be carried on by the CID.
After 4 months of investigation, CID has come out with a report to exonerate Charles Bissue from the allegation meted on him by Anas.
According to the CID report, the video presented by Anas which shows of Bissue taking money doesn’t reveal a clear picture of what actually transpired between the two.
