Burna Boy wins 2019 BET Best International Act award (+ Full list of winners)

Popular Nigerian singer and song-writer Burna Boy has been announced the winner of the Best International Act category at the 2019 edition of BET Awards.

The ”Ye” hitmaker beat Teni Makanaki and Mr. Eazi to win the coveted category in the award. The award was received by his mum who also doubles as his manager.

‘Every black person should remember, you were Africans before you became anything else,’ the singer’s mum tells Africans in diaspora in her acceptance speech.
