Burna Boy nominated for 2020 Grammy Awards
Popular Nigerian artiste Burna Boy has grabbed his first nomination in the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards with his album African Giant.
Burna Boy’s album is nominated in the category of Best World Music Album, containing at least 51% playing time of new vocal or instrumental World Music recordings.

Nominated in the same category with Burna Boy is Altin Gün (GECE); Bokanté & Metropole Orkest Conducted By Jules Buckley (WHAT HEAT); Nathalie Joachim With Spektral Quartet (FANM D’AYITI) and Angelique Kidjo (CELIA).
The 62nd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony is scheduled for January 26, 2020, at Staples Center in Los Angeles. And it will recognize the best recordings, compositions, and artists of the eligibility year, running from October 1, 2018, to August 31, 2019.
