Breaking: Safaribet finally shut down by the Gaming Commission

Information reaching Ghsplash.com has it that popular betting company, Safaribet been shutdown by the Gaming Commission with immediate effect.

This was after Safari Bet refused to pay a Ghanaian, Theophilus Morgan, an amount of GHC57million ($12m) he won last year. Morgan placed bets on 220 slips last year and won all. The case is still in court.

Read the Public Notice issued by the Gaming Commission below:

The Gaming Commission of Ghana wishes to bring to the notice and attention of the general public that African Gaming and Entertainment trading as Safaribet Sports Betting CAN NO LONGER OPERATE any games of chance in the country until further notice.

The general public is hereby advised not to conduct any form of betting on SAFARIBET’s BETTING platform or at any of their shops and branches.
