The legendary music and art icon died this morning at the age of 97.
The Emeritus Professor was born on 22nd June, 1921 in Asante Mampong.
He served his country with passion and contributed immensely to the art and culture of Ghana.

He won many awards, chief among them is the Order of the Star of Ghana, the Grand Medal of the Government of Ghana.
