Ghanaian footballer Winful Cobbinah has been sentenced for 4 months in Albania.
The footballer who plays for Tirana was found guilty of forging residence permit to secure Albania citizenship.
Fortunately for the footballer the 4 month sentence have been commuted to 100 hours of community service.
The Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama accused the President of Albania Ilir Meta of forging documents to grant Ghanaian Winful Cobbinah Albanian citizenship.
Albanian citizenship was offered to the former Hearts of Oaks player who has only been in Albania for 2 years, while it takes 5 years of continuous legal residence to apply for citizenship.
