Breaking: Christian Atsu quits Ghana Blackstars
Newcastle United player Christian Atsu has quit playing for Ghana Blackstars.
News about Christian Atsu quitting the senior national team of Ghana was published by Ghanasoccernet.
According to the football website, the winger decided to dump Ghana Blackstars for neglecting him after getting injured at AFCON 2019.
The publication by Ghanasoccernet added that Atsu is blaming his limited playing time at Newcastle United to the injury he sustained at AFCON 2019 which ruled him out for the early part of the 2019/20 EPL season.
Apparently Atsu Twasam made his decision known to new Blackstars coach C.K Akonnor when he visited the Europe to talk to a couple of Ghanaian footballers abroad.
It must be remembered that when C.K Akonnor named the Ghana Blackstars squad you face Sudan, Christian Atsu was missing from the list.
