Billionaire Dangote fulfills promise of giving Nigeria Super Eagles $50,000 for each goal scored
Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote has fulfilled the promise he made ahead of the AFCON semifinal clash between Nigeria and Algeria.
The richest man on the African continent, Aliko Dangote made a pledge to give the Nigeria Super Eagles team $50,000 for each goal they will score against Algeria.
Though the Super Eagles failed to beat the Desert Foxes of Algeria, they managed to score one goal in the 2-1 defeat.

Truth to his words, Aliko Dangote has given $50,000 to the team for the one goal they scored against Algeria.
The Nigeria Football Federation confirmed receiving the money this mornig with a post on their official twitter page.
“Business tycoon Aliko Dangote today in Lagos redeemed his pledge of $50,000 to the @NGSuperEagles for their one against Algeria in AFCON 2019 semi final. Money was presented by Olakunle Alake, GMD of Dangote Group accompanied by Anthony Chiejina, Chief Corp. Comm. Officer.” – They tweeted
