Benjie Anthony Covington Dies in fatal motorcycle crash in Washington County.

Tuesday morning’s motorcycle accident claimed the life of a 52-year-old McIntosh man, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

The single-vehicle collision happened around 10:50 in the morning. According to ALEA, 52-year-old Benjie A. Covington was killed after the 2004 Harley-Davidson motorbike he was riding veered off the road and collided with an embankment.

According to the agency, the collision happened in Washington County on John Johnston Road, about four miles west of the McIntosh city limits.

Highway Patrol Division troopers with ALEA are still conducting their investigation.
