After the game, his coach Jose Mourinho revealed the young lad ran to him to celebrate because he promised to buy him €800 shoes should he score a goal in the game.
As promised, Jose Mourinho got him the €800 to the delight of the young striker.
Felix Afena-Gyan only moved to AS Roma this year straight from his High School courtesy Ghanaian football agent Oliver Arthur.
He went to trail at the junior side of the Italian club and impressed the coaches who signed him.
The Wenchi born player quickly settled in Rome as he became the lead striker of the U-19 side of AS Roma.
When Jose Mourinho joined them in the summer, he promoted him to the senior team.
