Back your agenda with knowledge, MPs don’t fix roads – Sam George questions NameAndShame agenda

Hon. Sam George has questioned the ongoing NameAndShame agenda on social media.

With this new agenda, constituents post photos of terrible roads and other bad things in their constituency alongside photos of their MPs to shame them.

Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Hon. Samuel Nartey George has questioned agenda.

According to the opposition legislator, it’s not the job of Members of Parliament to fix roads in their constituencies.

He says, it’s the job of the Minister of Roads & Highways and that MPs can only lobby.

Asking an MP to get roads fixed? For real? The #NameAndShame campaign must be backed by basic knowledge. My job is to lobby but you have a Minister for Roads & Highways. If you have any bile, spit it at him for that is his job. I have lobbied. He has failed. Hold him responsible” – Hon. Sam George said
