Football administrator, George Akwesi Afriyie has suggested ways to help develop Women’s football in Ghana.

Unlike the men’s game the women’s game in Ghana is poorly patronized with very little interest.

According to George Afriyie all over the world, a sporting product is developed by the interest of people.

To get many people, women especially to get involve in the Ghanaian Women’s game, he’s suggested we rely on influential female’s in the country.

Speaking on Accra based Oman FM, the astute football administrator offered a professional advice to the next GFA administrations which he himself is vying for the Presidency.

George Afriyie said we should get influential women like actress Yvonne Nelson, EC Chairperson, Jean Mensah to patronize the Women’s League at the Stadium.

If these celebrated females keep going to watch the Women’s League, it will generate news around the country and with time people be influenced to go and watch the Women’s football just like their celebrities.
