Audio: Ghanaians in South Africa plea for help as they detail out the genesis of latest Xenophobia

Ghanaians in South Africa have been living in fear in recent days following a new Xenophobia wind in Pretoria and Johannesburg.

A couple of Ghanaians in South Africa who spoke to Adom Fm from their base expressed how they are living in fear.

They said they have been confined in their hideout and can’t move to work lest they get attacked by hoodlums who are venting their frustrations on foreign Africans in their country.

One of those who spoke to Adom talked about the genesis of the recent Xenophobia wind. She said a foreign killed a local when he was defending himself from an attack.

The locals in return have been burning shops of foreign Africans and attacking humans asking them to leave their country.
