This land has been in dispute after the expiration of the lease agreement which permitted the Nigerian High Commission to occupy the land.
In December 2019, a Microfinance owned by a Ghanaian notified the Nigerian High Commissioner on how they have encroached on his land backed by evidence from Ghana’s Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources with the consent of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.
Nigeria High Commission turned a deaf ear to the notice and instead started erecting Apartments on it.
