Angry youth of Ofankor burns the house of the landlord who shot ‘musician’ tenant dead

News reaching us is that angry mob at Ofankor has burn the house of the landlord who shot his tenant

Ghsplash.com had earlier reported that a landlord, Victor Steve Nana Kamkam has allegedly shot and killed his tenant, Benjamin Okyere at Ofankor ‘Spot M’ here in Accra.

The Mr Kankam’s action is in connection with the tenant’s refusal to move out of a two bedroom apartment following the expiration of his rent.

Benjamin Otchere, 31, now deceased was said to have argued that his rent will be due on the midnight of Sunday, 24th May, 2020 and hence demanded that the Landlord gives him more time to pack his things.

During the argument, Kankam who had stormed the house with an AK47 rifle and a bullet proof vest allegedly shot Otchere at close range.

A friend of the deceased who attempted to question why the Landlord shot Otchere had the gun pointed at him.

He then escaped for dear life and rather concentrated on taking the friend to hospital.

He was however pronounced dead on arrival.

The suspect has since been arrested but has refused to give details of why he took the deadly action even though he has not denied killing his tenant.

After the incident reports reaching us is that some angry youth in Ofankor went to the house where Benjamin was staying and set the house on fire.
