Angelique Kidjo dedicates Grammy Award to Burna Boy after beating him to win (Video)
Legendary African singer and songwriter Angelique Kidjo has bagged another Grammy award.
The Benin singer edged off competition from the likes of Burna Boy to win the Best World Music Album at the 2020 Grammy Awards.
Her album ‘Celia’ was adjudged the Best World Music Album at the 62nd Grammy Awards.

Receiving the award on stage, the legendary artist used to platform to tell the world about the new crop of African artistsz
Angeloque Kidjo then dedicated the award to Burna Boy for pushing Africa forward.
Although Burna Boy did not win, Angelique Kidjo dedicated the Award to him!

This is her 4th Grammy award, having won awards in 2008, 2015 and 2016.
