An Articulated Truck runs over Chief Inspector of Accra Regional Police Service

An Articulated Truck loaded with fertilizer has run over Chief Inspector Justice Aryee of Accra Regional Arms and Ammunitions unit of the Ghana Police Service.

The incident occurred at Tema Neighborhood 25 freeway close to Ready Academy Worldwide College when the Renault Articulated truck with registration number GT 4226-12, reportedly failed breaks and run over Hyundai Accent saloon automotive with registration number GT 2500-10, pushed by the policeman.

Police instantly proceeded to the scene of accident and noticed the truck pushed by suspect driver Dramani Bukari, parked on the nearside of the highway loaded with cocoa fertilizer whereas the Hyundai Accent saloon automotive was additionally seen in the course of the highway extensively broken with the motive force Chief Justice Aryee who sustained severe accidents trapped in it, news portal Mynewsgh said.

He was eliminated with the help of fireplace service personnel from Industrial Space Tema, and rushed to Tema Normal Hospital for remedy, but was pronounced lifeless on arrival.

The body has been deposited on the police hospital mortuary awaiting post-mortem whereas the suspect truck driver is in police custody as investigations proceeds.
