Aidan Wilda Died In Monday Joliet Fatal Motorcycle Crash

The coroner’s office reported that Aidan Wilda was declared dead at 8:49 p.m.

on Monday on Route 53 in Joliet, close to West Schweitzer Road.

According to the coroner’s office, Wilda struck a vehicle that was moving westbound on West Schweitzer Road while operating a motorcycle in the northbound lanes of Route 53/South Chicago Street.

According to Joliet Police, Wilda’s motorcycle collided with the rear driver’s side of the Toyota as it attempted to make a left turn onto southbound South Chicago Street from westbound Schweitzer Road.

Aidan Wilda was reported dead at the scene. The accident is being investigated by the police.
