Ghana’s Abedi Pele named amongst Top 5 African Greatest Players Of All Time By France Football Magazine

Legendary Ghanaian football star, Abedi Ayew Pele has been named in France Football Magazine as one of the greatest in the history of African football.

The former captain of the Blackstars came 5th in the list compiled by the French Magazine.

Abedi Pele during his playing days won the African Cup of Nations with Ghana in 1982.

The legendary player maker at the club level won the biggest trophy in his era, Uefa Champions League with Olympique Marseille.

First on the list is current Liberia President, George Oppong Weah won remains the only African player to be crown the FIFA World Best and Balon D’or winner.

Samuel Eto of and Roger Mila of Camerooncame 2nd and 3rd respectively with Drogba taking the 4th spot.
