77-year-old marijuana farmer arrested; tells Police he’s been smoking for 60 years

The Police in the Bono East Region of Ghana has arrested a 77 year old marijuana farmer.

The farmer Opanin Kwadwo Sampene has been apprehended by the police for cultivating marijuana.

The 2 acres of marijuana farm owned by Opanin Kwadwo Sampene in the Mem, a suburb of Atebeubu has been destroyed by the Police following the arrest.

The suspect is currently in the custody Police following the arrest effected by team of officers, led by District Commander Chief Supt. Bright Boafo.

According to Opanin Kwadwo Sampene he’s been smoking marijuana for 60 years and has been trading in the banned herb for ages.
