6 angry customers of MenzGold arrested for attempting to destroy Zylofon Office
East Legon Police, have arrested 6 people believed to be customers of MenzGold Ghana Limited, a gold trading company.
The gold trading company has been in turmoil ever since they were ordered by Security and Exchange Commission to quit taking new deposits.
Customers of the company have been chasing them for their locked up deposits but the company is yet to adhere to the demands of the customers, causing them to use force.

In the early hours of Friday, 6 people were seen forcing their way into the office of Zylofon Art, a company owned by the CEO of MenzGold, Nana Appiah Mensah.
The police officer there stop them from entering, leading to a bitter spat.
The guys then started pelting stones at the building and workers inside the building.
The Police, in an attempt to control the situation arrested them to the East Legon Police Station.
Superintendent Kwesi Ofori, had this to say about the unfortunate episode
“Today is a public holiday. A group of boys violently massed up here, throwing stones and attacking personnel working here.”
“One thing that the police will like to remind everybody is that one cannot take the laws into his or her own hands. It is criminal to equip yourselves with missiles like stones and materials to cause injury and harm,”
