2 Policemen interdicted after they were captured on camera celebrating Kotoko’s goal
The Ghana Police Service have interdicted two officers of the service for cheering on their football club instead of providing security at the stadium.
The two police officers (names withheld) were amongst personnel deployed to the Accra Sports Stadium to provide security when Hearts of Oaks faced Kotoko on 26th January 2020.
When Asante Kotoko scored the winning goal late in the game, these two policemen made nonsense of their uniforms and celebrated like die hard fans.
