2 police officers in the Bullion Van Robbery gang have been shot dead with 4 other officers arrested.
2 officers of the Ghana Police Service in the Bullion Van Robbery gang have been shot dead with 4 other officers arrested.
In a press statement released by the Ghana Police Service there was an intelligence-led raid by the Service today at Boteyman near Ashaiman.

During the raid the 2 police officers who were arrested in connection with the Bullion Van Robberies were hit by bullets and were pronounced dead at the hospital.
The two are Constable Reindolph Gyimah Ansah and Corporal Stephen Kwaku Nyame.
According to the Police Service, 5 other suspects, 4 of whom are police officers have been arrested.
The police say during the exchange of gun at Borteyman today, some suspects who sustained wounds managed to escape.

They are therefore appealing to the general public and Heath facilities to report to the police if they find someone with gunshot wounds.
